We are amateur letterpress printers with a workshop in Appleton, Oxfordshire.
We have been printing letterpress for a few years: Ben since 1992 and Ruth since 1997 (ish). Ben learned how to set type and print as a teenager from Claire Bolton at Alembic Press which was then in Kennington on the outskirts of Oxford. Ruth had her first go at letterpress while a student in the Typography Department at Reading University.
